Phone bling to rid you of gloom
The weather has been beautiful here this weekend. It's been warm and sunny - and after a long, cold, dreary winter, it is a welcome change.
So, I should be excited to get outside and enjoy it, right? I should be eager to get out into my garden and start pruning for the upcoming blossoms. I should want to open all the windows and clean the winter clutter and dirt out of this house, right? I should. But I don't. I don't feel like it.
I've been in a funk for the past few days and, after having struggled with depression for most of my life, this feeling drains me. All that makes me feel better lately is designing. I can lose myself in it. My mind doesn't recycle 527 times in one hour those negative thoughts with which I am plagued. All that matters when I'm designing is my color choices, alignment, cleaning up random anchor points, and deciding on fonts. It brings me a comfort that I can't even put into words.
Poor me, right? Well, not really. You get to reap the rewards of my endless struggle with "The Sads" because when I am in Obsessive Design Mode, I come up with lots of freebies. Yay, you!! :)
I've been having so much fun playing around with gold, rose gold, and glitter. One of my recent papers inspired these awesome phone backgrounds. What better way to liven up your home screen than with some gorgeous bling??
